IRC Program

The. Pipeline Project provides ski resorts with access to a motivated talent pool of CTE students prepared for success in the ski industry. Our certified teacher-led industry recognized credentialing (IRC) program offers students the ability to take a variety of industry courses making them valuable candidates for essential roles at ski resorts.  Special thanks to our IRC partners:

Program Overview:

  • Earn Industry-Recognized Credentials: Students complete multiple IRCs, building a strong foundation in risk management, maintenance, and resort operations, and more.

  • Progressive Learning Structure: Each year is designed to grow students' expertise, with foundational skills covered in junior year and advanced operational knowledge developed in senior year.

  • Real-World Exposure: Students work on-site at resorts, gaining firsthand insight into daily operations and learning how resorts function from the ground up (pending local resort's job availability).

  • Prepared, Job-Ready Graduates: By graduation, students are equipped with essential skills, hands-on knowledge, and a motivated outlook, making them valuable job candidates in the ski industry.

Career Readiness Kits

Our Career Readiness Kits introduce elementary through 8th-grade students to the exciting world of ski industry careers, showcasing roles like lift mechanics, snowmakers, ski patrol, and food & beverage management. These kits provide a clear pathway for students and parents to explore career options through CTE courses in high school, while engaging students in fun, hands-on STEM activities that connect directly to real-world ski industry jobs.
